Hi guys, We know what the problem is, with the Pearl at least. It has to do with the apn settings that you have to set up on some BBs. We are trying to do away with the apn settings altogether to make the process easier for bb users. We are working on fixing this issue.

Hi David, This is normal between android and iphone. Within 5 minutes you should appear on the map on her phone. We are working on improving this, so that Androids and Palm Pres will show up faster on iPhones. So far, only iPhones and Blackberrys will show up instantly on iPhones. Ken

No it should not change anything at all, they are totally independent of each other. Once we figure out the instant messaging for the Android, it will fix the problem of you taking a while showing up on your girlfriends phone, with the added benefit of you being able to instant message each other as well. So far only the BB and iPhone versions support this, which is why they show up instantly for each other right away. We are definitely working on this for the Android, as we understand ...

Hi, I'm sorry for the problems that you are experiencing. We have just uploaded our new Blackberry version (version 3.1) to the Blackberry App World, and it's available for download now. http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/search/cellflare Try installing that version and see if it fixes the problem. Are you able to see the text fields on the screen? As long as you can see them, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't enter your username and password with the keypad. ...

Hi, Please give this a try if possible: 1) Close Cellflare and click on the "Manage Connections" Icon 2) Select "Mobile Network Options" 3) Under "Network Mode", if it is on "CDMA" change it to "Global" 4) Restart Cellflare We've had some success with certain CDMA Blackberrys by doing this, please give it a try and let us know if that helps. Thank you.

Hi, How long have you waited? There's generally a bit of a delay from the time the application is turned on, to the time it shows up on the map (can be anywhere from 1 - 5 minutes). Also, are you talking about the map on the website, or the map on your own phone?
Re: wrong location

Hi, This indicates to me that the phone is locating your position by it's assisted GPS (AGPS). The AGPS involves wifi positioning (the least accurate, can be off by as much as 1000km) and cellular network positioning (not too bad, but can be off at times as well). Some things to try are: 1) Disconnect from wifi, so that when the AGPS kicks in, it forces your phone to be located by the cellular network. 2) Turn off AGPS altogether, so that you force the phone to be located by the ...

Hi there, How far off are you? Do you happen to be indoors? We have noticed that when you are indoors, especially in office buildings, the accuracy can be off quite a bit. The reason for this is because when the pre cannot get a real gps signal from the satellites, it will switch to the assisted gps and get it's coordinates from the cell towers. The aGPS is less accurate than the real gps. Please try going outdoors and see if your location is more accurate. Ken

Hello, We have fixed this problem on version 3.02 which was released to the Palm App catalog on March 22. We have improved the background service so that the map updates more frequently with your current location. Please give that a try. Btw, I also use the Pre as my phone, and I haven't experienced this problem as of 3.02. Ken
