Re: Blackberry GPS signal

Remember that on a new model of phone (straight out of the box) or a phone that hasn't had a battery in it for an extended period of time needs some time to properly locate a strong GPS signal. It won't start up straight away. If this is the case, the signal will take about 5-10 minutes to be strong. It's a GPS issue, not a Cellflare application issue. Let us know!

Read through the recent forum posts for detailed information about the APN settings. There is a few things it could be, but with a BB - it's more likely the APN. :)

I think the whole world fell in love with the iPhone. You can't convince me otherwise!! I have a KRZR and lets just say, since I got my iPhone - it's sat in my purse unused for some time!

Traditional advertising has it's spot. I don't think that's going away. Someone in the world has endless supplies of money for this kind of thing - but for those who are looking forward, mobile marketing simply makes more sense. Environmentally...great. I can see that. But businesses frankly look at the bottom line first and foremost. And if the way of the future is cheaper, then I think most will be all for it.

Hi there! I hope you are enjoying the application - and thanks for posting in! As for the first question - unfortunately the time zone issue is something that is currently being worked on - so keep your eyes peeled for changes in the future. And the tracking is every two minutes for free users - with a paid version of the application the user can upgrade to tracking within 10 seconds. I hope this helped.

Your friends do need to be Cellflare members for you to locate them. However, there is also another way that you may not be aware of - it's called the Quick Locate PIN. This way, your friends, family and colleagues that aren't Cellflare members can see what you're up to - in real time! Here's the link http://cellflare.com/productfeatures.aspx Change the PIN number as many times as you wish (if you don't want a friend to see you anymore, for instance) Thanks for choosing Cellflare! :)

Another great Cellflare feature. Has anyone tested it out? Set an invisible "fence" around a specified area and get a notification right to your mobile phone when one of your contacts enters of exits it. Post some feedback here. What do you think of the GeoFence feature? :)
