How do I activate?

| I registered my phone, but I don't know how to activate it. I can't find the place where to put in the license key. Please help. Thanks! |

Hi Ashlee
Oh your Cellflare account (the website) you will find a license key on the bottom left hand area in the "My Profile"section.
You then enter the key into the "license key" section when you first try to activate Cellflare, just the first time.

Hi!
I found my license key but when I go on my phone it doesn't ask me to activate. I just click the app and it sends me to the page that says my longitude/latitude, etc. I'm still getting e-mails that I'm not activated. Please help... |

| try to delete the app and download it again from the app store. the new version will ask for license key. |

| I tried that already and it just asks me if I'm registered and I say yes and then I just enter my email and password. It still doesn't ask me for the activation code. |

Hmm, that's a thinker? Is there anyway you may have missed a step? This doesnt sound normal. In your profile page on the bottom left hand side hit the reactivate button, that may help with this problem as well.

| I am having the same problem. I have tried all the suggested ideas including reactivating my account. No screen asks me for an activation code. |

I can't see that happening, that is very very strange. You have deleted the entire app, re-downloaded and still no "activation page?"
Please try that again, when downloading the app from itunes, it's very straight forward, I wonder why this is happening. please try again and let me know how you make out.

The new version 3.0 on iTunes does not require an activation code or license key. Once you have created your account and downloaded the app you are good to go.
Once you have the app on your iPhone you will be asked one time for your login email and password. Just type that in on your phone and it will go straight to the Log/Latitiude menu page. This means you have successfuly installed the app. So out the phone by the window or go outside so you can pick up a gps signal. You will know when the app is activated once you see the "altitude" come on.

This "No need to enter License key" was a added improvement to version 3.0

| O ok..But I thought I should be able to see where my friends are on the map? I can only see myself, and I made sure my friend had his app on. I thought it was because I needed to activate it...Please help. Thanks! |

That strange!?
Ok, lets make sure all of these steps are taken car of when you and your friend are looking to locate each other.
- both turn on app
- make sure the phone has caught a signal
- then look for each other on the map
if that doens't work, I'm stumped!

No it shouldn't matter at all. For some reason, your iPhone isn't registering on our site, it still says "not activated". Here are the 2 things I would try:
1) Delete the app completely from your iPhone and reinstall it. Enter your email and password on the front screen when it prompts you to.
if that doesn't work
2) Log in to your web account. Click on the "My Profile" link on the top menu, and on the left you will see an option to delete the account completely. Delete it and sign up for another account again. Once you have signed up, add your friend to your contact list again, and sign in to your iPhone with the new credentials you just created.
Please give that a try and let me know how it goes. Thanks.
